Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the terrorist attack on a school in Pakistan's Peshawar.

Iran PressIran news: Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned a terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan, which killed and injured a number of Pakistani citizens, including a number of children.

Khatibzadeh said the killing of innocent people, including defenseless children, showed that the perpetrators of such terrorist acts did not adhere to any moral and human principles.

He assessed the purposeful terrorist acts in some neighboring countries in recent weeks as part of sinister plans to escalate ethnic and religious divisions in the region, noting that fighting such criminal acts requires vigilance and synergy of efforts and comprehensive contribution of all governments in the region.
