The Fatah and Hamas movements supported the announcement of a Palestinian election by the Palestinian Authority.

Iran Press/Middle East: The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said in a statement on Friday night that Hamas emphasizes the achievement of this right for the benefit of the Palestinian people, who have the absolute right to choose their leaders and representatives.
