Tehran (IP) - In a message to his counterpart, the minister of defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed his condolences over the death of a group of Indonesian soldiers following the sinking of their submarine.

Iran PressIran News: In a message, Iran’s Minister of Defense Brigadier General Amir Hatami expressed condolences to his Indonesian counterpart Prabowo Subianto over the death of several Indonesian soldiers in the wake of the sinking of a submarine. 

Submarine 402KRI Nanggala disappeared on Wednesday last week during a naval exercise near the island of Bali.

402KRI Nanggala was an old made-in-Germany submarine manufactured in 1977.
