Tehran (IP) - Tehran’s football Derby between Persepolis and Esteghlal FC began with paying tribute to the martyrs of Gaza in the ongoing Israeli regime's air raids and those also martyred in a terrorist attack in Afghanistan.

Iran PressIran news: The match between Persepolis and Esteghlal teams from the 23rd week of the Premier League started at 19:30 Friday local time with paying tribute to the martyrs of Gaza and the children of the martyrs of the terrorist incident in Afghanistan.

The match is being held at Azadi Stadium and to be judged by 'Mohammad Reza AKbarian'.

Currently, Persepolis has 42 points from 21 games and is in second place in the table, and Esteghlal is in third place with 34 points from 20 games.
