Moscow (IP) - The Minister of Agriculture Jihad of Iran, who arrived in Moscow on Thursday morning at the head of a delegation, stated that the purpose of his visit was to develop cooperation with Russia in the agricultural sector.

Iran PressIran news:  Kazem Khavazi told reporters at the Moscow airport that the exchange of technical knowledge and the development of cooperation with Russia in the field of agriculture are the most important goals of the trip, adding: "Iran and Russia which have a lot of agricultural potentials can promote good cooperation with each other in this field.

He stated that in addition to meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev, he will also consider the agricultural capabilities of this country for use in Iran.

Khavazi stated: "We will examine the possibility of developing trade in agricultural products and food in this trip."

Meeting with the Russian Minister of Agriculture, visiting the Russian Fisheries and attending the Agricultural University, and meeting with Iranian companies active in agriculture in Russia have been announced as part of Khavazi's travel plans.
