Ilam(IP) - The Seimare River, along with the ancient rocks and the intertwined forests and the roaring springs in Ilam province, western Iran, has created a spectacular and unique nature.

Iran PressIran News: Seimare River is the oldest river in western Iran and is one of the important sources of the Karkheh River in Khuzestan province, southwestern Iran.

The Seimare River flows all the way through rugged mountains and cliffs and winding valleys, eventually creating beautiful scenery and stunning outlooks.

Part of the Seimare River passes through Ilam province and a dam of the same name has been built on this river, which has an important role in supplying agricultural water and also prevents seasonal floods.

Seimare River is one of the spectacular and tourist attractions of Ilam province and in summer it is a beautiful place for tourists and nature lovers to visit this river.
