Tehran (IP) - Iran's National Olympic Committee (NOC) announced that the results of Iran's Olympics squad in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were ranked higher than those of the regional and Islamic world's countries.

Iran PressIran news: According to a NOC statement released on Thursday, the number of squad members sent to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics was 180, of which 133 were athletes, head coaches, analysts, and medical and technical staff, related to sports competitions and various sports federations. 

The statement added that there were 21 reporters, 11 responsible for the logistics, and 13 national Olympic committee and Sports Ministry managers who accompanied the squad. 

As the statement said, the personnel dispatched to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were fewer than the previous Olympic games.
