In 3rd consecutive victory;

Tokyo (IP)- Iran's national volleyball team defeated Pakistan in the last match of its group stage in the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship. It advanced to the next stage as the leader of Group B.

Iran press/ Asia: The last day of the group stage of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship will be today, with eight matches hosted by Chiba, Japan. 

The Iranian national volleyball team played against Pakistan at 5:00 AM Tehran time in its third match. 

In this match, the Iranian national volleyball team defeated Pakistan 3-0 with 25 to 20, 25 to 19, and 25 to 15, advancing to the next stage with three consecutive victories and 9 points as the leading team in Group B. 

The Iranian national volleyball team defeated Hong Kong and Thailand 3-0 in two qualifying matches.

The teams participating in the Asian Men's Championship will have a break tomorrow (Wednesday), and the competitions will continue from Thursday.

The 2021 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship will be followed by 16 teams in Japan from September 12 to 19.
