Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 280 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 119,072.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 25, 2021, 5,519,728 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,920,978 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,843 cases, out of whom 1,567 patients were hospitalized.

6,411 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 31,653,798 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 34,569,680 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 15,219,824 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 49,789,504 doses.
