Sheikh "Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani" had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart "Anthony Blinken" about the latest development in Iran nuclear talks.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to the official Qatari news agency (QNA), in this telephone call, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to expand them, as well as the latest developments related to the Iran nuclear talks and the developments in the Ukraine-Russia crisis, as well as the situation in Afghanistan.

No further details were reported from the interview.

Meanwhile, the Qatari foreign minister had previously talked to EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell about the latest developments in the Iran nuclear deal.

The Qatari foreign minister also spoke with Robert Mali, the US envoy to Iran, about developments in the negotiations on the nuclear deal.

The consultations took place following the recent visit of the Emir of Qatar to Tehran and his meeting with high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
